What Next for the Islington People’s Forum

Since the 2024 General Election Jeremy Corbyn MP has been piloting a new style of community organising with People’s Forums - community discussion assemblies about issues which matter most to local residents.

The People’s Forum project has now reached the next stage where structures have been set up and volunteers are now ready to take it on as a complete resident led project.

Jeremy Corbyn is inviting you to join him and his Peoples Forum Team as we plan the transition to volunteer-led Peoples Forums in Islington.

We are recruiting more volunteers to take on various roles including communication, facilitation, writing, presentation, event organisation, fundraising and coordination.
